Election Night

Here is what we are up to on this important night:
We are watching Fox News and eating popcorn.  We are having a homeschooling night with discussions on what a Senator is, how the electoral college works, about percentages, and many other fascinating topics.  Learning in real life, the best!

Occasionally the children come to me with a question that builds my confidence as a homeschool mom.  Last night, Timmy got out of bed with a perplexing question that he simply had to know the answer.  He needed to know if worms were baby snakes.  Aye, frijoles!  Oh well, at least he is thinking, right?

Kaitlyn and Sammy had doctor appointments yesterday.  Kaitlyn had her two week check up and is doing fabulous.  At her three day appointment she had lost weight and was down to 7 lbs 14 ozs and measured at 20 inches.  Yesterday she weighed in at 9 lbs 9 ozs and is now 21 1/2 inches [...]

We have had a busy week with trying to get back into a routine with school.  Sammy and I have doctor appointments and Rod has three days off.  So getting back on schedule after our Christmas break is challenging.
